How import and export restraints governing foreign trade can affect a country positively and negatively - Essay Example This research will begin with the issue of export restraints. The exports of a country represent the goods and services that are produced locally to then be sold and shipped to customer in other countries. In 2006 the world top exporter was Germany with $1,133,000,000,000 in outgoing trade. In order to achieve high export total countries need to have open and flexible economic system with excellent manufacturing and production capabilities. In new knowledge economy the ability to transfer information at rapid speeds has allowed the proliferation of service exports. The governmental policies of a country can provide exports restrains that may negatively or positively affect an economic system. For example in a country with restrictive environmental laws many industries such as the chemical industry may not be able to establish operation, thus the country will be a poor exporter of these types of goods. A closed economic system can be a major restraint for exporting activities. In Chin a before the reforms of 1979 which began a path towards economic recovery China’s export were low and could not compete in the international marketplace. The country changed its economic policies that created a semi-open system. The changes which culminated with creation of open economy after China gain entrance into the World Trade Organization in December of 2001 have allowed China to have three consecutive decades of 10% annual economic growth. A country culture and beliefs system can become a restraint for export activity.

Philosophy of Education Essay examples -- Philosophy of Teaching State

According to my knowledge the word "philosophy" is the study and understanding of knowledge in relevance to studying the wisdom of the universe. The word "education" is the act of developed knowledge. When put together the phrase, "philosophy of education," has extremely deep meaning within the context of knowledge. Therefore, before I can accurately state my position on the issue, I must examine my past, present and future experiences with knowledge. My view on education and my experience with knowledge was very sheltered until I came to Ball State University. My education was developed through private schooling from kindergarten to my senior year in high school. Throughout those eighteen years I was trained for the moment I am currently situated in today, known as college. Those preparatory schools opened my eyes to not only the act of reproducing presented material, but also the process of analysis and free thought. To my surprise from the school observations I performed this year in my education courses, I found that all school systems are not the same in structure or in curriculum. There are many ways to educate, express or unveil knowledge to the student. These processes all depend on one basic thing, which is what I am going to produce today. This belief is named the "philosophy of education." The student’s education greatly depends on the school and teacher’s practiced philosophies. A philosophy appears to be the one true belief that is constant in the classroom no matter what curriculum is presented to the student. An individuals philosophy is the belief a person lives by and expresses to their peers in society through their actions and spoken or written word. In terms of developing a philosophy for the classroo... ...Graff, Gerald. "Disliking Books at an Early Age." Falling into Theory: Conflicting Views On Reading Literature. Ed. Elizabeth M. Schaaf . Insigh Paper “Story of Earth” Essay

The Earth is said to be â€Å"the only home to life in the universe† but five billion years ago there was no signal of the planet that we can call it home. Instead there was only a new star and a cloud of dust in our solar system. Over billions of years, a series of violent changes led to the formation of our world and, eventually, the creation of life. As stated in the movie 4500 million years ago the earth looks like hell than home. Also, we can definitely see it as a â€Å"boiling ball of liquid rock or an endless ocean of lava† because the sun was only 22,000 kilometers away from our planet. As time goes by, Meteorite starts showering the planet and brings water 3, 900 million years ago. Then, 3,800 million years ago the molten rocks burst in the earth’s crust and rises up which forms a volcanic islands which may eventually became the first continent. Might as in this year, it begins to make the earth a planet that we can live but the atmosphere was toxic and meteorite dissolves and transport carbon, proteins, amino acids from space to the ocean. Microscopic organisms are also found and the first sign of life is called the single cell bacteria which is the chemicals under water. Furthermore, 3,500 million years ago Astrometalites was also found it is also called as â€Å"the most important element† because it helps in the photosynthesis process. Afterwards, 1,500 million years ago the earth is no longer a living planet. There were no complex life, plant, dinosaur and even humans. At this time, the earth was also called as the blue ball that has scattered volcanic islands. Then, the oldest known supercontinent was introduced it was called Rodinia. It was formed about 1100 million years ago and broke apart 750 million years ago. Also, in this year, the day was counted only 18 hours. 750 million years ago, the heat in the earth’s crust was said the reason why the supercontinent split into pieces. About 650 million years ago, it was the longest and coldest period of ice age ever to grief the earth and about 3 kilometers of ice was suppressing the earth so that the scientists call the earth as a â€Å"snow ball†. As the time passed by, the ice is also melted. And 540 million years ago, the primitive bacteria evolve into plants and something else. Trilobites are distance relatives of insects and even scorpions. Nomolicarius(sir I’m not so sure of the spelling) was also found in that era. It was 60 meters long and has a large eyes, sharp teeth and grasping limbs. Picaia(sir I’m not so sure of the spelling) a organism that has a 5 centimeters long and may also be evolving into spine. As conclusion, the earth created by dust and rocks at the universe. Also it was surpass different cycle. As the time passed by, a boiling ball of rock with an endless ocean of lava. Then it became a blue ball and finally an earth surrounded by ice.
